 Landings Ranch was a great hunting experience. We did a single day dove hunt in late September 2025. Everyone in our party shot a limit by mid-morning! The staff are friendly and accommodating. The dove field was easy to navigate, provided great forage, and made finding downed birds a cinch. The dove cleaning station was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend Landings Ranch for the avid and novice hunter alike. We will return ourselves and anxiously await our next opportunity. 

 Just wanted to let you know that the dove hunting this past weekend was the best dove hunt I've ever been on. The cabin was great. Clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The fajitas you cooked really hit the spot. We will see you again next year.

 My trip to Landings Ranch was my introduction to guided South Texas dove hunting. I have been a dove hunter 63 of my 75 years, but I have never had a hunt like the ones I experienced at Landings Ranch. I literally saw more than a thousand shot opportunities the first two days of the 3-day hunting special at Landings Ranch. My hosts, Clint and Nikki Arnold, took really good care of me with the accommodations and meals and treated me to some fantastic hunting. Me, as a suspect wing shot at best, limited every hunt over three days. I shot at everything the first day and learned that I could afford to pick my shots to ensure a better shooting percentage.

The terrain is perfect for dove hunting. There are agricultural fields where the birds go to eat spillage from grain crops and there are multiple watering holes where you can wait for the birds to arrive thirsty. I had the luxury of hunting opening weekend, but the birds are so plentiful they will ensure several really good weekends of hunting.

The hunt is just over, but I am already lining up a crew of friends to accompany me next year. Landings Ranch, so named because it is located near a practice field for jets from NAS Kingsville, offers other hunting choices. They have turkey and hogs and are growing a crop of deer and exotics for hunting opportunities in the future. Current accommodations can hold up to 6 hunters, so I would reserve early to make sure you have a spot. I will definitely be back.
